Smoke & Flame
Smoke effects can play an important role in a theatrical production, if used with care. As an example the play “Neville’s Island” by Tim Firth is described as a comedy in thick fog and requires that there is a permanent mist on

stage. And where would the beloved pantomime be without smoke, flashes and bangs? Rock musicals such as “Grease” often require smoke to enhance the light beams during the musical numbers. Keylight has the usual smoke machines in its hire stock and has recently acquired an Antari Low Smoke Machine (further

details on this page) which is capable of simulating the effects of dry ice. For safely reproducing flames we have a couple of small silk flame effects which are also detailed on this page.
We can also supply pyrotechnics and the means of controlling them.
